Biography:

I have been a member of staff for over 7 years and became a governor in February 2016. I am married and a proud mum of 3 teenage children, 2 girls and a boy. I have lived in Derby since I was a little girl and so I have a good knowledge of the local community and it's needs. I have always had an interest in St chads infants school from pupil, to parent, to employee.

As a governor, I find it purposeful in being able to discuss relevant issues, with people from different walks of life and helping to make the best possible decisions to improve the outcomes for the children in school. l want to support the school in being the best it can be and supporting our children to achieve their potential (whatever this may be).  It is important to me to create an environment whereby each child is valued and develops their own self-esteem and confidence, so that they can excel both academically and creatively.
